Provincial Nominee Program

Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs) is a number of immigration programs designed to stimulate economic development in all provinces and territories except Quebec. A PNP offers the Government of Canada’s official endorsement of a foreign national’s application to live and work in that specific province.

Each Canadian province and territory has its own methodology for endorsing applicants, with most using a points system to determine if an applicant is eligible under their program. While each province may have different eligibility criteria, they all are aimed at those who have ties to the province.
